Since Brad first laid hands on a solar panel a spark was ignited and that flame burns brighter with each passing year. Brad’s passion for solar is driven by the multifaceted aspects of this exciting and rapidly evolving industry. Brad brings years of experience to the Harvest Solar team and is directly involved in every facet of the business; design, sales, installation, work on legislation, and most importantly education. Whether discussing the value of solar with a homeowner or presenting to a room full of 8^th graders, education is at the center of everything Harvest Solar does, and this is what feeds Brad’s passion.   

Blending together the technical requirements of designing PV systems with a creative approach informed by an education steeped in arts and architecture, Brad approaches each project as an opportunity to challenge himself to think outside the box and provide clients a solution that provides an economic and aesthetic return. Beyond the calculations, measurements, and financials of each individual project lie the other challenges of the solar industry which include working with utilities and government to protect the industry and its future. In 2018, he was appointed to the board of MREA and was elected President of the organization in 2022. In addition, Brad chairs the policy committee at MREA where the group identifies the challenges and opportunities presented to the solar industry in Montana. 

When not working, Brad spends his time in the mountains or on the river connecting with this last best place.
